General Description
The Survey Party Chief will supervise all members of a survey crew performing construction stakeout and associated preliminary topographic surveys, boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients.
Key Duties
✔ Must have extensive experience in highway stakeout
✔ Daily coordination with field coordinator, project managers, and other office staff
✔ Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations
✔ Work independently as a one-person crew as required
✔ Daily uploading and downloading of data collectors
✔ Daily care and charging of survey instrumentation
✔ Continually advance knowledge with upgrades in technology and equipment.
✔ Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements

General Description
A Motor Grader Equipment Operator is an hourly-rated skilled craft position that performs on construction projects any combination of the duties described more fully, below. A GPS Motor Grader Equipment Operator typically performs a wide variety of tasks, transferring from one task to another as the workflow dictates.
Key Duties
✔ Proper prestart and daily maintenance including lubrication
✔ Keep equipment clean and well maintained

✔ Monitor all engine gauges
✔ Operating skills in blade control
✔ Scrap and level dirt

The Lowboy – Truck Driver is an hourly-rated skilled craft position that performs on construction projects any combination of the duties described below. The Lowboy – Truck Driver’s primary function is to safely load and secure equipment to be moved from one location to another. This job description may also perform a wide variety of tasks, transferring from one task to another as the workflow dictates.
Key Duties
✔ Valid Class “A” CDL license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
✔ Must have familiarity with the safe operation of construction and/or paving equipment
✔ Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of construction and paving equipment
✔ Able to work day or night shifts as required
✔ Knowledge of all USDOT & FMCSA safety regulations
✔ Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels on oil, water, fuel, and inspections for leaks and damage to vehicle prior to operation
✔ Responsible for notifying supervisor if vehicle needs to be repaired
✔ Experience with airbrakes and standard transmission
✔ Drive truck equipped with different trailer combinations
✔ Maintain completed pre and post-trip DVIR
✔ Ability to calculate weights of equipment with truck/trailer combo to stay within DOT permitting restrictions and guidelines
✔ Knowledge of FMCSA cargo securement rules and regulations
✔ Required to carry a current medical examiners certificate (FMCSR part 391.41)
✔ Perform incidental work items and duties included within other crafts
✔ Able to safely drive a water tanker, flatbed, and/or other commercial vehicles as required within driver’s license guidelines and with the required driver’s license endorsements

General Description
The Excavator Operator will work in close proximity to equipment and people and operate a excavator to remove materials in a safe manner.
Key Duties
- Operate a excavator in close proximity to equipment and the public safely.
- Perform daily fluid level checks on oil, water and fuel; Visual inspection for obvious leaks and damage to machine before operation of equipment as well as safety equipment checks.
- Responsible for daily maintenance of equipment to remain in proper and safe working order. Responsible for notifying supervisor if equipment needs to be repaired.
- Other duties as assigned.

The Tack Truck Driver is an hourly-rated skilled craft position that performs on construction projects any combination of the duties described below. The Tack Truck Driver’s primary function is to safely and efficiently operate asphalt distributor.
Key Duties
- A valid Class 'B' CDL with a tanker endorsement is required
- Operate tack truck safely
- Load tack truck oil
- Cleaning and upkeep of tack truck
- Constant monitoring of temperature of oil and mix
- Work with asphalt crew to perform additional duties when tack truck is not in use
- Driving record within MVR policy guidelines
- Must have familiarity with the safe operation of construction and/or paving equipment
- Able to work day or night shifts as required
- Knowledge of all USDOT & FMCSA safety regulations
- Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels on oil, water, fuel and inspections for leaks and damage to vehicle prior to operation
